Hey everyone!! We officially have over 130+ subtitles on our videos in FIFTEEN languages other than English and Japanese thanks to all of you!! For all of you who have been helping, and for anyone who wants to help in the future, YouTube has made an update to make captioning much easier!
YouTube has a new feature that allows you to caption videos in your own language DIRECTLY on YouTube. This makes things much easier since you don't have to download our transcripts or use your own subtitling software! For information on how to use it, check the update on our transcript blog post! Since I have to go through every one of our videos individually and manually allow publicly submitted captions it'll take a little while for me to make this feature available on every one of our videos, but I'll get it done as quickly as I can!
Thank you SO MUCH again for all of your help! We get comments from time to time from people who are deaf, or hard of hearing, or who don't understand English perfectly thanking us and all of you for the captions on our videos, so we really, truly appreciate all of the time and effort you all have spent helping us!
